Totally Lame

This afternoon, during Happy Hour, I rushed to Sonic to get a caffeinated drink. Today was rough for some reason. Well, once I got there I ordered a Strawberry Limeade, which is my absolute favorite, but it has no caffeine and has FRUIT! Two wrongs definitely do not make a right. Now, I'm still sluggish and my tongue is upset with me. Boo.

A Nice Afternoon Surprise

I have seen flowers everywhere the past few days. I love my new postcard stamps, because they have some of my favorite flowers.

Flowers have even appeard during my time with Jesus from this post to this verse.

Flowers bring such life and joy to an environment. Monday was a really busy day and I was really tempted to go buy my self some flowers. Towards the end of the day a sweet friend stopped by my office with a bouquet of wax flowers.
Jesus is so kind to show his love through community. He knows the desires of my heart, because he put them there, and is faithful to see them bloom in my life. I looked up the meaning of wax flowers , they symbolize Riches, and that I have.

I am a very rich woman. I have a God who is faithful, family who I cherish, friends & community who love me well, and I'm walking on a path with my Papa that is full of his great riches and promises.

Somber day in US History

Sunday, May, 1st 2011 it was announced that OBL was killed by US forces. I was in bed and saw a posts about the President making an announcement soon and then called my twin.

Instead of a celebration, I said a prayer for my country, for we are still not out of harm's way. I said a prayer for BL'a family and that they may know the great love of Jesus. This man died without knowing Jesus, so that is a reason for mourning, because he didn't know he could be forgiven for all his sins. He will never be with the one who created him.

"Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your hearts rejoice." Prov 24:17

"As surely as I live," says the Lord, "I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live." Ezekiel 33:11

So, let's pray for our country that God continues to be our Shield and Defender. Let's pray that the enemy has no victory in the situation. I pray that the sons & daughter of the most high God take this news and pray for salvation for other members of AQ and the lost around world who don't know that Jesus is the one true way to Eternal Life.

Let us also be thankful there is justice in this land. Let us remember all the souls that were lost on 9/11. Let us be thankful we are able to live another day and sing praises of thankfulness for all of our blessings & joys.
