Too Cute!

Here's just a random post.

Well, if you know me at all I love to buy new bedding. It was so hard not to buy new bedding for my room in Waco. I knew that I didn't "need" it and I still love my bedding I've had since the Fall of 2007. Its a quilt that turquoise on one side and lime green on the other. My uncle made my pillows for me out of fabric we found! I wish I was as creative as he is!

However, if I was looking for new bedding, I would be tempted to buy this:
I L-O-V-E paisley!! Also I love the pairing of these two colors!! I was actually looking for a print like this for my blog background! I really want it, but know I don't need it...boo!

Here's another cute picture I ran across today. One of my favorite blogs to read is http://kristinandkayla.blogspot.com/

This blog is full of cute pics of Kristin and Kayla. Their dad is a photographer and he uses them for his models. He comes up with creative poses and they are just too cute! He had this picture on his post today, and thought this is every little girl no matter her age. This picture could be uses in a Bridal magazine or a boutique. I love it! Plus, I really like the dress!

Maybe I'll post something later, but just wanted to share what I found this morning!

LOVES IT!!

So, have I mentioned how much I love Kris Allen, especially in all his plaid and argyle glory...ha! The boy knows how to dress.

Here is a video of Kris singing "All These Things That I've Done", which was originally performed by The Killers. Weird name, but great band. My freshman year of college I always would listen to this CD while fixing my hair. Just picture that, me rocking out to the Killers in my room at Abilene Christian.....HA! I was such a rebel!

This was Kris's show in Little Rock, AR. The crowd gave him like a two minute standing ovation before he could start a song.

Did anyone see the Bachlorette last night? I did, with Elise thinking I was ridiculous the whole time. I didn't watch the show the entire season, but loved watching because I love Jillian's clothes. I wanted her to pick Kipton, but it doesn't really matter. His ring was nicer as well. I think Ed looks like Denny from Grey's Anatomy.

Waco is treating me kindly, but I can't wait to be in San Antonio for Desi's wedding and to see my family!! I'm trying out another Lifegroup tonight. I have loved all of the ones I visited. I just pray that God will let me know the one I'm supposed to be. I went to one last week and it was really good. It was great to see everyone there open to the Holy Spirit and letting their walls down for HIM to move. Everyone there was ready for anything and dropped everything of the world at the door.

That's all for now!

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!!!

If you live in Seattle.......

You have to meet this girl!!!This here is my good friend Karen Wang. She just moved to Seattle in May, and will be a famous photog one day. Check our her website here: http://karenkwang.com
Karen and I met the fall of my Senior Year at Texas State. We were in International Marketing together where we had to create a marketing campaign for Sweet Leaf Apple Juice in Turkey. Through this year, Karen became a classmate, friends, and dear sister in Christ.

Karen also took my "Senior Pics" and they turned out great. Here is one picture from the photo shoot:This day was so fun. Karen, Marie and I took pictures all over campus and had a very yummy breakfast at Root Cellar. They had the best french toast and sausage. If you are ever in San Marcos you must go. Their plates of food look like pieces of art.

Here is pic of us on graduation Day. I had so much fun with her before the ceremony began. Also, she was one of my friends who I texted with during the ceremony..HA!Karen has been one person this summer I can always talk to about so many things. I truly thank God for this divine appointment. I get so excited to hear how Karen is growing in her relationship with God. I'm so thankful she has found a great group of people at her church in Seattle. It truly is the best gift to see friends coming to the Lord. Plus, she make the coffee drink, that always makes you a top friend in my book :). If you ever need a good pep talk, call Karen!

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

Just Browsing....

So I'm looking for colorful jewelry. I have a side job at Bath & Body Works and we are only allowed to wear white and black shirts and blouses. I am looking for colorful pieces to make my outfit more "me".

I found this cute rose necklace. Isn't so cute?!It $24.99, which is kinda too much for me. This would be a great gift..wink wink. I found it at thelittlebazaar.com

I am really into birds in jewelry right now for some reason. I'm not sure why, but I love how artist can make their wings so realistic and beautiful!

This piece does not have a lot of color, but is something I would like to wear. Its very dainty and something you could match with a shirt or a dress. I love that is has only one pearl. I've been wanting a single pearl pendant. So, this is perfect BIRD + PEARL!! The designer is a local artist from Waco, named Summer Ellis. She also attends Antioch Community Church. She is having a trunk show next Friday and Saturday at Bloom & Bee 10am - 5pm. I hope I can check it out and maybe get a good deal on something!!!

I really love turquoise and have a few pieces already. My favorite is a ring my mom bought me when I was in middle school. This is probably the oldest piece of jewelry I have from my mom. I would cry if I ever lost it. I loved how their was silver, a "diamond", and a flower was mixed in.
So when I found this piece I thought they would really compliment each other.
Well, I hope you all have a great weekend!!
If anyone would like to leave a comment that would be great. I always wonder who reads this thing other than my two sisters...haha. Also you can follow me, because so far I just have one follower.

"See You Later" Weekend!!

Well, my last weekend in San Marcos was a great one!!
Friday night I was able to hang out with The Lopez's for a bit and had some girl time at Ramie's! We watched Beauty & The Beast!! I just love that movie. When I was in the 3rd or 4th grade my mom took my sister, Danielle, Mouse, and I to see Beauty and The Beast on Ice. It was so fun. My mom also got us snow cones in "chip cups".

Saturday, I went tubing with Chi Alpha. Before I left for the River I went to Lolita's for a taco. I had to get it one more time! They have the best Bacon and Potato Breakfast "Tacos". I call them Breakfast Burritos, but since they have it on their menu as "tacos", I will call it that for this post...HA!

We tubed the San Marco River, and it was so much fun. We went past the damns and went under I-35. I didn't know the River went that far. It was really fun to go down the shoots!!

Afterwards, I met up with JaMonica, and she treated me to ice cream at Baskin Robbins in Kyle, Texas!! YUMMY!! I had my all time favorite, Mocha Almond Fudge, Ice cream with coffee!! Having Jamonica as a friend this past year has been a true blessing. She lets her light shine for Jesus and is generous, thoughtful, authentic in every aspect of her life. :)
After Ice cream, we headed back to San Marcos for dinner at Tres Hermanas! Let's just say I paid $11.00 for the Taco Plate and could have gotten better food at Taco Bell! Liz's calamari looked like Fish Stick from Sam's Club!! It was a fun dinner filled with people I will miss very much!! Mike and Liz were so sweet inviting people out!!
In this picture they are making fun of me! When I want people to get closer in pictures, that's the hand sign I use...HA!
Here I am with sweet Leah! It was such a joy to see her last weekend!! I can't wait to see my Texas State dress!!

Later that night I was able to hang out with Javi, Myra, Jeff, Sami and Brit one last time! I had so much fun with this group! Many laughs were shared!

I am leaving sweet memories and friends in San Marcos!!

The BIG Cut!

So for the past two and a half years I've been growing my hair out. I had been wanting to donate my hair for the longest time, and finally decided to grow it out for that reason. I had to first grow out my highlight I had in my hair, which took a year and a half.

I decided I wanted to do the big cut after I graduated for two reason: 1. I wanted long hair for graduation 2. I wanted to mark the beginning of my next season of life with something BIG!

While I went home the last week of June I decided it was time. I almost chickened out the night before. I donated my hair to a local charity in the Panhandle. The hair goes to children who need wigs, because of various medical reasons. It felt good knowing kids in my area would be helped in some way.

When Ann, my hairdresser, snipped the first cut I CRIED! Yes, you read that right, I cried. At the same time, I noticed how heavy my hair is.

Here is a before picture :

After picture:
I moved to Waco yesterday and looking for a J-O-B! Hope everyone had a GREAT 4th of July!
I spent the day working and the evening with my dad and sister. No pics, I always forget pictures!!
