Well, let me open the doors of my life. Last week I got a call asking if I would pray about being a part of ACC's North Carolina church plant. The CP leaders have asked six of my very best friends in Waco to join as well. The 7 of us were in a 50 person lifegroup and have multiplied into 3 separate Lifegroups. Jesus, has shown favor on our Section by allowing each lifegroup to grow and be fruitful. The way my friends love Jesus is an example of Acts 2 to the world. When the CP leaders heard about our group they wanted to multiply the same community in North Carolina, so they asked many of the Lifegroup leaders to join.
The CP leaders are wanting a first group of people to move to NC in July to start Lifegroups and meet people. A second and third group of people will be sent out early next year and in the Spring of next year. The CP will have its first official service in January 2012.
I felt as if I've been on an emotional roller coaster trying to decide to go or not to go. Through it all I've embraced Jesus and kept reminding myself he has the best for me. He has good things for me, where he has my feet planted in his will. The Holy Spirit has met me in my wondering, fear of losing friends, and has brought peace that really does surpass all understanding. I met with the team leaders I told them I did not have peace about moving to NC this year. Jesus has told me 2011 will be a year of strengthening and I do not want to cut it short. So, I will be in the 254 till 2012, and feel totally peaceful about my decision. The leaders and I have decided to keep open lines of communication open and to continue to hear God.
Thanks for everyone who has walked with me the past few days. I could not do life without the community God has given me.
