Elevate.
Starting next Tuesday I will began Antioch's Discipleship School, Elevate. I am really excited to see what God has in store this year for me and the fellow students. It will be exciting to see how God will transform me in any way he chooses.
I know this year will be tiring and hard, but I hear the Lord speak some sweet words to me last night at the Antioch Training School Kickoff Rally.
He said"For I am holding you right hand and because of that nothing is impossible. For their will be trial and tribulations this season, you will be weak, but will not fall. You will rejoice in me. You will play sweet music for me, and I will dance for you bring me joy. "
While in Elevate I will go on two mission trips, one in the US and the other across seas. I will also be working with the Administrators of the church planning different events. I'm so ready to be part of this family God has called me to. To be soaked in HIS presence daily.
I am so grateful Elise and Aaron have opened up their home to me for this year. I am a pretty luck girl to have a bro and sis to support in such a BIG WAY!
Last night Isaiah 61 was prayed over all the students and it made me rejoice that God has called all of us to a higher calling. I'm not just talking about Elevate students, but ALL of us!!
Isaiah 61
The Year of the LORD's Favor
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, a]">[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
5 Aliens will shepherd your flocks;
foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.
6 And you will be called priests of the LORD,
you will be named ministers of our God.
You will feed on the wealth of nations,
and in their riches you will boast.
7 Instead of their shame
my people will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
they will rejoice in their inheritance;
and so they will inherit a double portion in their land,
and everlasting joy will be theirs.
8 "For I, the LORD, love justice;
I hate robbery and iniquity.
In my faithfulness I will reward them
and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations
and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge
that they are a people the LORD has blessed."
10 I delight greatly in the LORD;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise
spring up before all nations.

GUESTS!!!
Theses two dogs, Chuy, and Snickers have been digging a whole for probably a month. FINALLY, they got in and CHUY LOVED IT! Snickers was out of town and missed the company.
Chuy usually doesn't like other dogs, but loved these two pups. They were so sweet and smelled so good! Here's a picture of the three puppy dogs!

This little guy is too cute!! He had hair like a little lion. He was also a little heavy. TOO CUTE!!

Here is the Little Princess!! She was so sweet!She reminds me my little Mitzi so much! She was so dainty. Chuy and these two dogs are currently digging two new holes!

After this visit I decided I want a Pomeranian for my next dog!
HAPPY DIGGING!!

Ted Kennedy
Also, during the same time I was able to see Ted Kennedy in the Evans Liberal Arts Building. He was on tour on behalf of Obama. His speech was supposed to take place during my Consumer Behavior class. If you know me I NEVER skipped class, unless I had permission, and in reality if you have permission you are not skipping. So the day of his visit I called my dad and my professor to get permission, which they both gave. My professor, Dr Smith, told me "GO BE A PART OF HISTORY!" So, on I went with my camera in hand.
So on this day, when America is remembering one of it's most prominent politicians, I am remembering the day I was in the same room as this man. Even though I may not agree with all of his opinions, I have to say he is a Kennedy and he someone to be respected.
So Good To Me!
Many things bring me Joy: my relationship with friends, family, my relationship with Christ. It's so important to remember all the things God had done for me! May I live in HIS joy. Find HIM in each circumstance and find joy in each persecution!
We are his children! Kids love to loved and God loves to love and delight in His children! How great is that!
You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Here's a PROMISE....
Custard with a Mouse & a Dog!
Sunday after a long wait,Kelsey(Mouse), finally made it back to WACO!!! So we celebrated with a trip to Katie's Custard...YUM!!
While driving to Katie's I was actually puller over, because on of my back lights on my car isn't working. The po po could tell I don't know anything about cars and gave me a warning. However, I did get a ticket because I couldn't find my proof of insurance..oops. BTW, this is the second time I've lost my insurance card. So he had to write me a citation, but got it all taken care of today and didn't have to pay!! What What!! I'm so thankful I was born with dimples ;). Joking!
I brought Chuy along because he loves Katie's as well. They give dogs "dog cones" full of custard. Yes, I know dogs are not supposed to have dairy, but my Chuy is not a regular dog. I don't know how many times he has had chocolate and his little heart is still ticking. Katie's was out of cones so he got a dish.
Mouse and I both enjoyed concretes with STRAWBERRIES!! It was a fun night to catch up with Mouse! I really do love custard. I love it more than ice cream and probably more than gelato. How about you?
